As always thanks go to Stan, Mary and the rest of the Pike family for their continued support and allowing the use of the farmland to host the event.

One of the regular users of the HIBC mini-bus are Age Concern. Kay Hawkins, chairwoman of the Hayling Island branch recently wrote a letter of thanks to the club.

“Age Concern appreciate the use of your mini-bus which benefits our lunch club passengers. Without this facility the club would struggle to continue transporting the many elderly members who in turn would miss out on the chance to take part and enjoy a freshly cooked meal. Your continued support and hard work are very much appreciated“

We are currently looking for new members. The club name can be a little misleading as it is not necessary to be a Businessman to join. Anyone with time and the interest to be part of a club with the Ethos of helping the less fortunate on Hayling Island can apply for membership. In addition to aiding this worthwhile cause through the planning and arranging of fund raising events, there are member social gatherings throughout the year. The combination of these activities enables members to build close relationships, and find friends for life. For further information please email recruitment@hibc.org.uk contact any club member.
